He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Kuehn (Scott Terry) of Hudson, SD and Kristi Tchida (Mike) of Sisseton, SD; his grandchildren, Alex Suurmeyer (Jen) of Brandon, SD, Todd Suurmeyer of Sioux Falls, SD, Mackenzie Tchida and Kayden Tchida of Sisseton, SD; his great grandchildren, JoJo and Ridgely Suurmeyer of Brandon, SD; his sisters, RuthAnn Akre of Selby, SD and Joan; and his brother-in-law Bob Strand of Spring Hill.
