It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Allan Haakenson of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Mayville, North Dakota, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Haakenson (Brown); his wife Ethel; his daughters, Beth and Betty; and his siblings, Neal, Delores and Jim.
He is survived by: his friend Ethel Moen; his children, Lee Anderson (Jeff), David Haakenson (Melody) and Susan Haarstad (Dave); his grandchildren, Jami (Bo), Chris, Garret (Grace), Chelsea (Thomas), Kristin, Mike (Anna) and Heather (Nick); and his sister Nola Satrom. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
