It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl E. Smith of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Mayville, North Dakota, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilmer Moen and Thora Moen (Berglie); and her siblings, Patricia, Denis Moen and Bonnie Knight (Moen).
She is survived by: her husband Duane Smith; her siblings, Gloria Brend, Julie Walz (Michael), Don Moen (Connie), David Moen, Dean Moen and Del Moen; her children, Christopher (Fargo), Charles (Fargo), Chad Harwood (Darcy), Jaime (Eric) and Paulson (Fargo); her grandchildren, Ray Smith (Valley City), Morgan Smith of Ft. Worth, TX, Mira, Jenai Paulson (Fargo), Tyrel Uhrich (Fargo) and Ian Uhrich (Devils Lake); and her great grandchildren, Harmony and Riley Huisenga (Valley City). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
