Carrol Thomas Juven Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 88, Carrol Thomas Juven of Fargo, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hallingdal, Flesborg and Numedal; his parents, Ole Juven and Clara Juven; his son-in-law Sheldon Idso; his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Richter, Telford Wollan, Joanne Wollan and Marilyn Baker; and his niece Angela Juven.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Juven; his children, Mark Juven (Vicki), Rebecca Idso (Becky) and Jon Juven (Karla); his grandchildren, Kristen Juven (Tanaya Reitz), Eric Juven, Ingrid Dent (Travis), Maren Bilgrien (Eric), Kylie Mersinger (Joe), Anthony Juven and Nathan Juven; his great grandchildren, Nora Dent, Wyatt Dent and Rosie Ruth Bilgrien; his siblings, DiaAnn Juven Smidt, Ardeith Richter and Reginald Juven (Janice); and his brother-in-law Dean Baker (Carole). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (619 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sons of Norway Foundation is a heartfelt way to honor Carrol's lifelong dedication to preserving and promoting Norwegian heritage.
