She was predeceased by: her husband Ed Halloway; and her brother Scott Hofsommer. She is survived by: her parents, Don Hofsommer and Marge Hofsommer (Kittelson); her son Elliott Nelson; her sisters, Jill Kesler (Blain) and Julie Allen (Kevin); her nieces and nephews, Ben Hofsommer, Josh Kesler (Rita), Matt Kesler (Jesse), Lynsey Johnson (Josh), Jacob Allen and Nolan Allen; and also Elliott Nelson.
