He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gabel and Magdalene Gabel (Krebsbach); his brothers, Ellis, Wilbur and Gail Gabel; and his sisters-in-law, Addie (Ellis), Georgianna (Wilbur) and Laurel (Ray).
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Jaeger; his daughters, Denice Aldrich (Craig) of Fargo, ND and DeAnne LaLonde (Ron) of Fargo, ND; his grandchild Ciara Casler (Thomas) of Fargo, ND; his daughters, Erika Aldrich (Zach Nyberg) of West Fargo, ND, Blake LaLonde of Fargo, ND, Maddison LaLonde of Fargo, ND and Skyler Cottam (Tanner) of Fargo, ND; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Elias, Quinn, Emersyn and Briar; and his brothers, Ray Gabel (Linda) of Alamo, TX and Kevin Gabel (Marlene) of West Fargo, ND. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Blase was a member of Knights of Colombus, St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for many years.
