It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arland E. Olerud (Fargo, North Dakota), who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Olerud and Adeline Olerud; his stepfather Thorvold Andvik; and his brother-in-law Ronald Judisch (Janice). He is survived by: his close friends, Bernard Haugen, Ed Shorma and Arland; his former wife Mary Beth Richards; his family Wahpeton Downtown Development; his former wife Susan Kay Mjelde (Kyllander); his wife Sue; his children, Mark Olerud (Michele), Sarah Kirchmann, Greta Roberts (Bret), Nicole Rivera (Roger Broden) and Eric Mjelde (Jessica); his grandchildren, Eric (Emily Palmieri), Daniel, Matthew Olerud, Addison, Sammy Kirchmann, Jack and Charley Roberts; his stepgrandchildren, Jadyn Rivera (Noah Klinkhammer), Kyllan, Lydia and Emmitt Mjelde; his great grandchildren, Penelope and Layton Klinkhammer; and his siblings, Curtis Olerud (Kathy), Janice Judisch and Linda Bosse (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
