It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ardell J. Black of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Guenther and Sarah Guenther (Garrett); her husband Lester Black; her parents-in-law, Harry and Edna Black; and her siblings, Derald Lee, Leo Dean Guenther and Sharon Depew.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Van Raden (Roger) of Fargo, ND, Sheryl Patnaude (Pete) of Lake Park, MN, Gay Newman (Terry), JDee Leary (Kelly) of Daytona Beach, FL and Pam Quam (Randy) of McLeod, ND; her grandchildren, Sarah Van Raden, Troy Van Raden (Diana), Pete Patnaude Jr. (Yvonne), Nicole Berlin (Adam), Brent Newman, Dusty Newman (Sarah), David Muir (Erica), Jacinda Muir, Tess Sobocinski, Devin Smith (Casey), Amanda Lyons (Ryan), Brandon Quam (Kay), Carlyssa Quam (Ryan Peterson), Tekisha and Shanazja; and her great grandchild Tyler Patnaude. She is also survived by twenty-eight great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
