It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Rugenstein (Fairmount, North Dakota), who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertwill Rugenstein and Matilda Rugenstein (Nelson); and his grandparents, Albert, Mary Rugenstein, Nels and Margaret Nelson.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen Hruza; his wife Kathy Rugenstein; his children, Gary Rugenstein (Billie Jo Johnson) and Kayla DeFries (Mark) of Elbow Lake, MN; and his grandchildren, Carson, Cayson Rugenstein of Fairmount, Benjamin, Kaylee, Rachel DeFries of Elbow Lake, Josh, Sam, Tristan and Courtney.
