He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Steffens and Minnie Steffens (Mahler); his wife Leola Steffens; his son Randy Steffens; his grandsons-in-law, David Kuehl and Trevor Skarphol; and his siblings, Lowell Steffens, Orman Steffens and Carol Carraher.
He is survived by: his children, Kirby Steffens (Bev), Lori Miller (Wayne), Monty Steffens (Joni) and Marty Steffens; his daughter-in-law Judy Steffens; and his siblings, Connie Polifka, Cleo Myhra, Cheryl Awe and Terry Steffens. He is also survived by grandchildren; 10, great-grandchildren.
