She was predeceased by: her parents, Rochus Streifel and Elizabeth Streifel (Wolf); her husband Joe N. Mitzel; her sisters, Agnes and Barbara; and her daughters-in-law, Nancy J. Lyon and Linda J. Varnum.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph of Moorhead, MN, Roger (Lori) of Bismarck, ND, Glenn (Jan) of Bismarck, ND and Darrell of Esmond, ND; her grandchildren, Dustin Mitzel (Wendy) of Fargo, ND, Kimberly Heidt (Chad) of Dickinson, ND, Brock Mitzel (Gina) of Trophy Club, TX, Ryan Mitzel of Bismarck, Sheri Wolfe (Randy) of Prescott, AZ and Robert Joseph Mitzel Hesch; her brothers, Jim Streifel of Athens, TX and Rueben Streifel of Spokane, WA; and her sister-in-law Rose Faller of Harvey, ND.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
