It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ekre of Enderlin, North Dakota, born in Fort Ransom, North Dakota, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sverre Gyldenvand and Francis Gyldenvand (Kopp); her husband Donald Ekre; and her siblings, Patty, Dale, Sandy and Lualyn.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Ekre of Enderlin, ND, Blaine Ekre (Jayne) of Otsego, MN, Bradley Ekre (Kim) of Gilbert, AZ, Brent Ekre (Libby) of Phoenix, AZ and Blair Ekre (Brenda) of Queen Creek, AZ; and her sister Jean Morris of West Fargo, ND.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
