He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Froemke and Hazel Froemke (Ufer); his granddaughter Evelyn Bleecker; his stepfather Clarence "Slim" Omdahl; his siblings, Arnold Froemke and Violet Oslie; his niece Connie Thernes; and his son-in-law Robin Compson.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Jankowski; his daughters, Vally Froemke of Valley City, Tammy Enstad of Valley City, Vicky Bernstein (Eldon) and Christy Bleecker (Raymond); and his brother Boyd Froemke (Janice) of Lake Havasau, AZ. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
