She was predeceased by: her parents, Emanuel Ottow and Bertha Ottow; her husband Alvin R. Kurtz; her brother Lawrence Ottow; and her great grandchild Lily Rae Kurtz.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Schmidt (Tim), David (Julie) and Gary (Julie); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Donny), Michael, Brandon (Maycee), Brad (Lacey), Holly (Lucas), Adam and Kelly; and her sister-in-law Sharon Kurtz. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Funeral Home - Casselton (31 6th Ave N, Casselton, ND 58012). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
