She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gerner and Ella Gerner (Nemec); her husband Elden Langer; her son Joseph; her son-in-law Chuck Loomer; and her sisters, Irma Bran and Mary Lensing.

She is survived by: her daughters, Melody Puhr (Steve), Bonnie Loomer, Julie Kurtz (David), Eileen Zaun (Mark), Donna Liebenow (Randy), Diane Hovland (Brian), Sandy Beilke (Chris) and Sara Pfaff (Greg). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
