He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Thompson and Marion Thompson (Douglas); his daughter Branda Jo; and his siblings, Donna "Suze" Olson and Doyle "Feezer" Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl (Rolland); his children, Travis James and Kellie Sue Sandvig (Matt); his grandchildren, Danica Lee Wendel, Anthony Michael Wendel and Maverick Matthew Sandvig; and his brothers, Donald "Doc" Thompson (Carol) of Valley City, ND and Dave Thompson (Judy) of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
