With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zachary Taylor Metcalf of Emerado, North Dakota, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2024 at the age of 24. He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Haugen of Bemidji, MN and Betty Metcalf (Ozzie Osmundson) of Emerado, ND; his son Finlay Metcalf of Emerado, ND; and his siblings, Janelle Deziel (Adolf Prez) of Grand Forks, ND, Jaimie Mudge (Chelsey) of Larimore, ND, Cody Aho of St. Paul, MN, Jasmin Metcalf of Emerado, ND, Joe Haugen of Bemidji, MN, Lucas Haugen of St. Cloud, MN and Sara Haugen of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
