She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Powell and June Powell (Steffen); her husband Gary Sonterre; her brother Stuart Powell of Grantsburg, WI; and her grandparents, Tom, Merle Powell, Fred and Cecilia Steffen of Wisconsin.
She is survived by: her son Ricky; her grandson Hunter of Emerado, ND; and her sisters, Joy Powell of Grantsburg, WI, Lisa Powell of Crystal, MN, Laura Harmon (Todd) of Owen, WI and Terri Powell of Bayport, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
