She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus D. Sharp, Sr. and Chestina Barge Sharp; her husband Michael Jacobs; her siblings, Sandra Sharp Powell and Rufus D. Sharp, Jr.; and her nephew Ronald Powell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Wardell (Catherine) Sharp and Yvonne Sharp Banks of Atlanta, GA; and her nieces and nephews, Gregory Powell, Kevin Powell (Denise), Darnell Sharp, Landon Sharp, V. Michelle Cobb (Cory), Kristel Limary (Tommy), Bridgette Sharp, Alesia Goolsby and Wanda Sharp. She is also survived by great-nephews, great-nieces, extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Circle of friends Animal Shelter in honor of Dakota-Sue in her honor.
