He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boniek and Elma Boniek (Hansen); his son Mark; and his siblings, Elmer Boniek and Marcia.
He is survived by: his wife Alvera; his children, Nancy Carlson (David) of Tioga, ND, Debra Payne of Minnesota Lake, MN and Perry Boniek (Sue) of Ellendale; his grandchildren, Daniel, David Payne, Dianna Heinze (Kyle), Doris Kitzing (David), Deszirae Payne, Chris Carlson (Nicole), Shelby Knox (Kasey), April Weight (Brady), Lindsey Boniek and Courtney Boniek (Eric Wonchoba); his siblings, Renata Heartly of Carlsbad, CA and Leo Boniek of Hawick, MN; and his in-laws, Gloria Radtke, Madeline Radtke, Harvey Radtke and Sharon Boniek. He is also survived by seven great granddaughters and one great grandson.
