He is survived by: his stepson Rickie Holweger (Lori) of Steele, ND; his brother LeRoy Schroeder (Mae) of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Sarah Friez (Nick) of Steele, Cole Holweger of Steele and Jenna Nelson (Josh) of Moorhead, MN; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Jacob Friez.
