He was predeceased by: his father Donovan Thorpe; and his brother Jeff Thorpe. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Thorpe (Whelan); his spouse Beano Olson; his children, Kelly Krege (Mike Allmer), Jeff Thorpe (Carrin), Matt Thorpe (Michele) and Mike Thorpe (Amanda); his grandchildren, Krista (Logan), Tara (Steven), Taylor (Preston), Hunter, Riley, Kyle (Breanna), Alexius (Drew), Annah, Dillon, Mackenzie, Madeline and Drew; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Parker, Theo, Hailey, Harper, Landon, Maggie, Jameson and Jackson; and his siblings, Sandra, Patrick and Kim.
