He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leroy Curtis and Cora Curtis; his spouse Fay Smith; and his daughters, Linda, Sherry and Tia. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren (6 boys, 6 girls), 4 great-grandchildren (3 girls, 1 boy) with a 5th great-granddaughter.
