She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Brandenburger and Lydia Brandenburger (Goehner); her former spouse Bueford "Bud" Watkins; her husband Elmer Gentz; her son Chester Watkins; and her grandson Chad Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Watkins of Aberdeen, SD, Victor Watkins (Maggie Mitchell) of Norman, OK, Cindy Nell (Brent) of Ellendale, ND and Susan Merkel (Randy) of Ellendale, ND; and her siblings, Marion Muske, Dianna Rogelstad, Marvin Brandenburger (Jean) and Paul Brandenburger (Pricilla). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and many many nieces and nephews.
