She was predeceased by: her siblings, Nancy, Bill and Emmett; her husband Charles Knipe; and her son John.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Williamson (Ross) of Havre, MT, Charles Knipe (Sherri) of Fort Madison, IA, Carl Knipe (Christine) of Casper, WY and Christine Gathright (George) of Elgin, ND.; her sister Beverly; and also Monty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
