It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emil M. Vetter of Elgin, North Dakota, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Vetter and Lydia Vetter (Leischner); his former wife Ella Rieger; and his sisters, Huldah Schulz, Lorraine Zimmerman, Edna Schock and Elsie Vetter.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Swanson of Elgin, ND; his sons, Charles Vetter (Colleen) of Elgin, ND, Loren Vetter (Naeko), Glen Vetter (Karen) and Bill Vetter (Shelly Pitsenburger); his grandchildren, Janine Vetter, Suzanne Smith (Jason), Justin Vetter (Brandi), Bill Vetter (Rachel), Angela Emmrich (Ben), Lisa Stroebl (Shawn), Daniel Vetter (Andrea), Eric Vetter, Jessica Vetter, Nikki Vetter, Emily Vetter and Breanne Fugate; and his brother Ray Vetter of Elgin, ND.. He is also survived by granddaughter; 14 great-grandchildren.
