He is survived by: his wife Gail Schatz; his daughter Mary Bauer of Minot, ND; his grandchildren, Jacob Bauer, Anna Bauer (Dawson Brekhus) and Kayla Bauer; his great grandchildren, Grace and Brixton; his son Micheal Schatz (Kay) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Zachary Schatz and Grace Schatz; his siblings, Shirley Oschner and Jim Schatz (Bernice); his sister-in-law Karen Schatz; and his sisters, Carol Rossow, Patty Bohl (Jerry) and Anna Himmelspach (Delbert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
