She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur B. Sauer; her son Donald; her children-in-law, Richard Pruitt and Shirley Sauer; her grandchildren, Melissa, Melinda Sauer and John Wayne Sauer; and her siblings, Paul Hinderer and Helen Hinderer.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Sauer of Mobridge, SD, Robert Sauer (Gloria) of Carson, ND, Willard Sauer (Joyce) of Carson, ND and Audrey Pruitt of Elgin, ND; and her daughter-in-law Virginia Sauer of McIntosh, SD.
