She was predeceased by: her father Burton Burk; her parents-in-law, Ernest and Gunda Sanderson; her siblings-in-law, Lorretta Gjesdal and Irvin Melland; and her nephew Kenny Melland.
She is survived by: her mother Ann Burk (Struck) of Rapid City, SD; her husband Lloyd Sanderson; her son Jason (Valerie) of Bemidji, MN; her grandchildren, Braden, Brianna and Brooklyn; her siblings, Peggy Severson of Edmore, Paula Heimgartner (Stephen) of Hot Springs, SD and Jim Burk (Linda) of Rapid City; and her siblings-in-law, Orris Gjesdal of Langdon, ND, John Sanderson (Rita) of Grand Forks, ND, Ron Sanderson (Gail) of Shelton, WA and Jane Melland (Lynn) of Elk River, MN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
