He is survived by: his wife Elin Jerstad; his children, Anne Kristine Hanks (Jack), Jon Nygard and Tina Stockdill (Scott); his granddaughter Eliana Hanks; his siblings, Joyce Nygard and Rodney Nygard (Jan); his sister-in-law Adriana Nygard; his daughter Betty Hurst; and his grandsons, Jason Hurst, Daniel Hurst, Cody Ellis (Mariah) and Xavier Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
