She was predeceased by: her parents, Torfi Gudmundson and Sigrun Gudmundson (Johnson); her sisters-in-law, Marie Simundson and Catherine Byron; her husband Oscar Byron; her brother Todd Gudmundson; and her great grandchild Oscar Seim.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Hurt of Hoople, ND, Kim Ness (Jon) of Devils Lake, ND, Kristi Holm (Tom) of Hoople, ND, John Byron (Terri Nelson) of Fargo, ND and Kirk Byron (Beth) of Palmer, AK.; and her grandchildren, Hayden Gehrtz, Tucker Lang, Madelyn Seim and Krew Schemionek. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
