He was predeceased by: his father Dale Mairs; his father-in-law Allen "Bud" Lahren; his brother-in-law Randy Lahren; and his granddaughter Paityn Mairs. He is survived by: his son Steven Mairs; his wife Sue Mairs of Edinburg, ND; his child Garett Mairs (Jennifer); his granddaughter Paisley Mairs of Colfax, ND; his mother Betty Mairs of Lisbon, ND; his brothers, Randy Mairs (Susan) of Lisbon, ND and Kirk Mairs (Janet) of Fargo, ND; his mother-in-law Carol Lahren of Fargo, ND; his sister-in-law Peggy Lahren of Phoenix, AZ.; and also Steven Mairs (Madi Juhl).
