She is survived by: her husband Curtis Olafson; her children, Heimir Heimisson (Kólbrún), Iceland, Linda Frey (Thomas) of Harrisburg, SD and Einar Nielsen; her stepchildren, Renata Selzer (Greg) of West Fargo, ND and Drew Olafson (Samantha) of Cavalier, ND; her grandchildren, Kristjan, Natalia, Gunnar, Clara, Gavin, Halle, August, Iris, Anita and Lillia; and her sisters, Margrét Eiríksdóttir, Edda Eiríksdóttir and Sæunn Eiríksdóttir.
