He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Neva (Muir); his daughter Dr. Joanne Larson; his siblings, Jerry, Glen, Mary Jean, Donna and Evelyn; his great grandchild Zoey; and his son-in-law Larry Korth.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Adams; his children, Linda Lindberg (Andy) of St. Paul, MN, Barbara Buss (Wayne) of Yankton, SD, Richard Larson (Maribeth) of Fayetteville, GA, Edward Larson (Loni) of Fargo, ND, Mary Beth Korth of Davenport, FL and Donald Larson (Bonnie) of Sanborn, ND.; and his sister Gayle Schuck (Larry) of Bismarck, ND. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
