We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2020, at the age of 96, Helen Burleson (Edgeley, North Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Oberlander and Christine Oberlander; her son Darold Schmuhl; and her siblings, Mary Haid, Emma Bellon, Frieda Carstensen, Ester Pfeifle, Theo, Alvin, Walter, Otto and Edwin Oberlander.
She is survived by: her former husband Harold G. Schmuhl; her husband Melvin Burleson; her son Dean Schmuhl (Jean); her stepchildren, Jolleen and Lynn Burleson (Ritagail) of Bartlesville, OK; her daughter-in-law Sue Schmuhl; her brother Larry Oberlander of Plain Valley, CA; and her grandchildren, Kurt Schmuhl of Moyock, NC, Todd Schmuhl, Joey Schmuhl (Rob Burg) and Jay Schmuhl. She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several step great grandchildren.
