He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McCoy and Rozilda "Rosie" Embring. He is survived by: his children, Lori McCoy, Debbie Powers (McCoy), Daniel McCoy, Kelsey McCoy, James McCoy Jr. and Jordan McCoy. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
