He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Chase and Rosalie Chase (Thomas); his children, Jimmy Chase Jr., Tony Morin and Lisa Chase; and his brothers, Ronnie Chase and Don Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Miranda Morin (Shawn) of Dunseith, Jesse Lee Chase (Jannette) of Belcourt, Merle Chase of Belcourt, Frankie Chase of Belcourt, Marilyn Chase (Blaine) of Goodrich, Tina Chase of Grand Forks, Wanda Turcios (Carlos) of Dunseith, Kim LaVallie (Cliff) of Belcourt, Jeff Handeland of Dunseith and Gilbert Handeland of Dunseith; and his siblings, Ron Johnson (Thanh) of Montana, Lonnie Johnson of California, Bob Johnson of Rolette and Judy Lundstrom (Ivan) of Gwinn, Michigan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren.
