It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Counts of Dunseith, North Dakota, born in Belcourt, North Dakota, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Counts and Louise Counts (Trottier); and his son Rallen Counts. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Olson; his stepson Jordan Morin; his close friend Michelle Morin; his sons, Jordan Olson (Mikkala) and Ernie (Candace); his stepson Justin Morin (Jordan Morin); his grandchildren, Rayne Counts of Dunseith, Riggin Counts and Kynoah Counts; his siblings, Joann Brunelle (Randy) of Belcourt, ND, Louann St (Clarence) and Clarence Swede (Mary); his godchildren, Cherie St, Claire, Christopher Lindteigen Jr., Mary Louise Counts and Numerous; his siblings, Lloyd Counts Jr., Clifford Counts (George), Ronald Counts (Ronnie) and Barbara Larocque; and his nephews, Brian LaRocque, Jason Counts, Jeff LaRocque and Clifford Counts (Herbie).
