With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Desjarlais of Dunseith, North Dakota, born in Belcourt, North Dakota, who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Demery and Alice Demery (Belgarde); her granddaughters, Tiffany Demery-Fluhrer and Cameron Miller; and her siblings, Melvin, Charles, Bill, Fred, Floyd, Larry Demery, Sarah Demery and Irene Demery-DeCoteau.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Michael Desjarlais; her children, Rocky Demery of Minot, Alvin Demery of Dunseith, Myron Demery of Fargo, Bobby Demery of Fargo, Kimberly DeCoteau (Lynn) of Dunseith, Laurie Demery of Dunseith, Bradley Demery of Dunseith, Wendy Demery of Dunseith, Dustin Desjarlais (Jen) of Dunseith and Breezy Scott (Tyler) of Dunseith; and her sisters, Ernestine LaFountain of Fargo, Theresa Demery-LaFountain of Dunseith and Linda K. Demery-Vallie of Rolla. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
