It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corissa Defender of Dunseith, North Dakota, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfather Dale Millang. She is survived by: her parents, Bradley Defender and Janelle Defender (Millang); her family, Sissy Mae, Kissa Mae and Trissa; her close friends, Jenna Pokharel (Prasun), Chelsie Desjarlais (Kyle), Tyrall Defender, Bradley Defender Jr. (Jeryn), Karina Defender and Braydin Defender; her children, Ryzen, Rolly, Deklyn and Daiah; her nephews, Kadin, Saamir and Keaton; her godchild Emmalynn; her grandparents, Mary Millang, Deloris Gunville Defender and Max Defender; her godparents, Christina and Terry Morin; and her brother Briley Defender. She is also survived by many aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.
