It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Belgarde of Dunseith, North Dakota, born in Belcourt, North Dakota, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Belgarde; his in-laws, Frank and Agnes Azure; and his siblings, Michael Belgarde and Tracy Belgarde.
He is survived by: his mother Cecelia Belgarde (Vallie); his wife Donna Azure; his children, Christina Strong and Christopher Strong (Sheena); his grandchildren, Dalton Poitra (McKailyn), Drayton Poitra (Kailey), Rozalind Strong (Chad), Mercedez Strong, Remington Strong, Allen (Marian), Randy, Alfred, David and Tony (Ruth); his sisters, Irene, Berni, Cheryl and Gloria; and also Harlan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
