He was predeceased by: his cousins, Doug Lider and Gayle Lider. He is survived by: his parents, Curt Halvorson and Denise Halvorson of Dunseith; his sons, Brandon Halvorson (Laura) of Dunseith and Kory Halvorson of Grand Forks; his grandsons, Jasper and Arlo Halvorson of Dunseith; and his siblings, Shelley Counts (Kurt) of Dunseith and Dennis Halvorson (Lori) of Dunseith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
