He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden and Verna; and his sister Ruth. He is survived by: his former wife Joan Iverson; his wife Jolene Morgan; his sons, Gregg Nelson (Ruth) and Steve Nelson; his stepchildren, Brenda Morgan, Bismarck of Barbara Morrison, FL and Jackie Kitzan (Cary); his grandchildren, Quinn Nelson, Little Rock and Streeg Nelson; his stepgrandchildren, Victoria Kitzan, Trevor Bushard and Shane Bushard; and his great grandchild Liam.
