It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tim Olson of Drayton, North Dakota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Virginia "Jinny" Olson (Marken) of Bemidji, MN; his former spouses, Kim Fokken and Laurie Rootes; his daughters, Trish Mikelson (Ryan Avdem) of Thompson, ND, Tonya Fairchild (Jason) of Grand Forks, ND and Jaimee Rootes-Olson of Bemidji, MN; his stepchildren, James Knudson of Drayton, ND, Natasha Knudson of Drayton, ND and JJ Knudson of Drayton, ND; his grandchildren, MaKenna Mikelson, Mason Mikelson, Mak Mikelson, Jailin Avdem, Dex Avdem and Lexus Olson; his siblings, Donna Hesselink (Dick) of Deer Park, WI, Tammy Neubauer (Joe) of Odessa, MN, Tracey Schroeder (Brent) of Cosmos, MN, Jeff Olson of Bemidji, MN, Tom Olson (Trish) of Osceola, WI and Nathanial; his sister-in-law Amber Brown of Drayton, ND; and his parents-in-law, Peter and Bonnie Brown of Drayton, ND.
