He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Passa and Mary Passa (Narlock); and his siblings, John, Frances Narloch, Andrew, Leo, Joe, Jacob, Frank, Helen Byzewski and Steve.

He is survived by: his wife Lucille E. Blawat; and his children, Larry (Brigita), Drayton, Daryl (Kate) of Mill Creek, WA, Ronnie (Cindy), Salt, Terry (Lisa), Linda McDougall of Hitterdal, MN, Matthew (Holly), Jayme (Jane) of Barnesville, MN and Brent (Allison) of Grand Forks, ND.
