He was predeceased by: his father Alton; his wife Roberta; his siblings, Reva, Lorne and Carl; and his grandson Jeff Steenerson.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Kathryn Reed (Art) of Carpinteria, CA, Michael Raymond (Rae Anne) of Grand Forks, ND, John Wesley (Patti) of Bemidji, MN and Lyle Thomas (Lesa) of Drayton, ND.. He is also survived by four children, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Drayton Volunteer Ambulance Service or the Drayton Cemetery Association.
