He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar Johnson and Myrtle Johnson; his wife Beryl Nelson; and his siblings, Milton Johnson, Phillip Johnson, Audrey Meshefski, Delbert Johnson, Lynnea Thomson and Cecil Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Martin, Jeff, Richard and Dean Johnson (Julie); his grandchildren, Annika and Nathan Johnson (McKenna); and his brother Harvey Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Austin Funeral Home-Drayton (403 W Divide Ave, Drayton, ND 58225). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
