Evelyn Weninger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Weninger of Drake, North Dakota, who passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Weninger to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Ziegler and Barbara Ziegler (Martel); her husband Anton J. Weninger; her daughter-in-law Linda Weninger; her great grandchild Stefane; and her siblings, Joe, Don, Andrew, Felix, Adam, Peter, Virgil, Mike, Louie and Betty Schmaltz.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom and Bob Weninger (Rita); her grandchildren, Brian Weninger (Sheri), Linnette Kuehn (Paul), Brad Weninger (Lisa), Kurt Weninger (Holly Marten) and Alane Weninger (Dave Cossette); and her sister Rose Miller.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (605 Main St, Drake, ND 58736). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Cemetery: 1163 35th St. NE Drake, ND 58736.
