She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Sr. Narum and Hilda Narum (Kuntz); her husband Herbert Groninger (Gene); her great grandchild Eli Wilcox; her siblings, Norman, Melvin, Gladys Bakko, Harold, Hilbert, Florence O'Shea, Hazel O'Shea and Nels, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Karen Groninger.
She is survived by: her children, Delwyn Groninger of Minot, ND, Dwayne Groninger (Jolene), Douglas, Donn Groninger (Karie) of Nashville, NC, Dana Malzer (Mark) of Sawyer, ND and Darren Groninger (Kim); and her siblings-in-law, Grace, Thelma, Edna, Wilfred Bakko, Robert O'Shea and John O'Shea.
Family requests memorials be made to the church their mother was dedicated to her entire life: Trinity Lutheran Church of Douglas.
