Sonja Marie Ozbun Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sonja Marie Ozbun of Dickinson, North Dakota, born in Starbuck, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Smedstad and Blanche Smedstad (Heggestad); and her sister Janet Bjorge. She is survived by: her husband Jim of Dickinson, ND; her children, Terry Ozbun (Patty) and Karen Farrington (Phillip); her grandchildren, Hannah Ozbun, Seth, Caleb, Joshua Farrington, Rose Ewing and Samantha Webb; her great grandchildren, Judah, Brista, Theo, Piper, Iris, Hazel Webb, Remy, Emery Farrington, Winston and Margaret Farrington; and her siblings, Mary Hanson and Michael Smedstad (Jo). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Sonja suggests memorial contributions be made to the DSU Heritage Foundation.
